To meet the needs of a growing family, the modest three bedroom 1960’s ranch-style home was in need of additional space for this family of six. The solution was to go up. Four bedrooms were added on the second level, along with a common homework and lounge space for the children. The first floor was completely reconfigured in favor of a large gourmet kitchen, a cozy family room and an expansive living/dining area. The focal point of the interior layout is a dramatic custom spiral staircase flooding light into the center of the home, while providing an enhanced connection to the exterior living space.
